Apprenticeship and Traineeship Funding

We have partnered with Australian state government initiatives to provide apprenticeship and traineeship students with government subsidised training. This means more students are able to get the training they want without the burden of cost. Each state has its own specific funding and is listed below. For more information, follow the links provided, or give us a call today.

Queensland – User Choice

Apprenticeship & Traineeship Funding
This Queensland Government initiative provides public funding towards the cost of training and assessment for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees. This program provides the flexibility to select your preferred registered training organisation (RTO) from a list of pre-qualified suppliers (PQS) for the delivery of accredited training to meet your specific needs. Construction Training Institute is a PQS for this initiative.

New South Wales – Smart and Skilled

Apprenticeship & Traineeship Funding
This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. All New South Wales apprentices and new-entrant trainees are eligible for a government subsidy under Smart and Skilled for the qualification that supports their apprenticeship or traineeship. CTI are an approved Smart and Skilled training provider. Through Smart and Skilled, students pay a fixed fee at the time they start their apprenticeship or traineeship. Although this may be paid in instalments, the fee does not increase over the time of training.

Fee-Free Apprenticeship Initiative
As of the 1st July, 2018, the NSW government has implemented a Fee-Free Apprenticeships Initiative providing eligible apprentices fee-free training. Fees however will still apply to some apprentices.
